Here I am with yet another God given directional change in my life. Rather than going for my MBA, I am working on progressing my career with one of the best companies ever. I didn't have anything to prove to anyone and I wasn't about to go through a program where all the professors felt that I didn't belong so instead, God provided me with a company that doesn't want to get rid of me! I really am so blessed by His providence and faithfulness.
As I write, the roof to my home is been replaced and it's a challenge to concentrate, however, God has really been working on my trust in Him. I knew I needed to work on it, but I didn't realize how much I needed to work on. Don't get me wrong, I've always believed Him and believed IN Him and His faithfulness. I had just never really experienced it to the level I have today.
What God does for me these days, is whenever I have any ounce of doubt, He completely removes it! I have completely given over everything to Him and He is STILL relieving any piece of insecurity or anxiety that I have. He won't let me forget His promises for me, no matter how much comes at me.
I always dreamt of working with mergers and acquisitions for companies and I never quite knew how to do it. Now, God has not only shown me the avenue, but put me in position to work towards it, too! It may take me a while, but it's something I'm most interested in; so to think that He's more than given me a dream leaves me speechless!
I'm currently trying to understand what the difference between a fitness coach and a personal trainer. My health has been a priority for me, to be the best me I can be in all aspects; I still have a lot of learning to do, but we all begin somewhere.
My mental health and emotional health were my focus the last couple of years and while it's still a challenge to overcome some days, I have made it a far stretch by the grace of God alone. He carries me every single day and still surprises me with His love :)
On that note, I will leave you with some words of His own:
Ephesians 5: 1-21
Walk In Love
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead, let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater) has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore, do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,
" Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Until next time, be blessed!
